The Aimee Welsh
Story
Introduction:
Suzin Daly
When I learned about the Aiden Auction from the Chronicle of the Horse
bulletin board forum, I felt it was a worth while cause to donate a
breeding, L.A. Baltic Sundance. When the auction closed I was emailed
the name of the winning bidder. I contacted them requesting any information
on the mare they planned on breeding as well as photographs to place
on the web site mare page. January 24th, I received more than
just information on a broodmare named Love Roberta (Becky). I received
a lovely letter from Bobbie Welsh, winning bidder. She wrote how she
was touched by the Aiden Auction to raise money for a little boy in
need of a Liver transplant. After reading Bobbie's letter I understood
why Bobbie was touched. Aimee at eight years old was diagnosed with
T-Cell Leukemia. This is her story......
